Our Estate Barn and Victorian Walled Garden are now licensed for weddings
Join us for our launch party on Wed 23rd August and see The Barn transformed from eatery into a wonderful wedding space. An open event running from 4.30-8pm, you will be offered complimentary drinks on arrival and an opportunity to browse the venue and garden and speak to our wedding experts.
Ideally located in beautiful, peaceful surroundings, The Barn at Old Down Estate is the perfect place to hold an unforgettable wedding. Accommodating up to 70 guests, The Barn offers a warm welcome with flagstone floors, a canopy of exposed wooden beams wrapped in fairy lights, wood burning stoves and stone walls. Alternatively, you can choose an outdoor ceremony that would take place in the charming secret garden. Either way, the Victorian Garden, beautiful pergola, manicured lawns and beds, all set within 66 acres of parkland, offer the perfect backdrop for wedding photos.
Available exclusively from 4.00pm-12.00pm every day, The Barn can cater for up to 70 guests after the ceremony with menu choices which include hog roast and homemade pizzas to a hot fork buffet and traditional afternoon tea. Our in-house team of exceptional Chefs are on hand to create sumptuous food for you and your guests to enjoy, complemented by a fantastic drinks selection. There is a licensed bar available until 12.00pm to ensure you have the most wonderful evening.
