Get together with friends or enjoy a family Sunday lunch, freshly prepared for you at Old Down Estate. A selection of meat or vegetarian dish served with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets (subject to meat option), cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, and homemade gravy. Side dishes available as an additional extra.
Our menu is created around locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Where possible we love to use ingredients from our very own kitchen garden here on the Estate. Please note this is not always possible due to seasons, produce and availability.
We can cater for a range of dietary requirements, simply make a note in the comment box when booking & speak to a member of staff before ordering your food for full allergen information.

We offer two sessions for Sunday Lunch 12:30pm and 2:30pm. A £5 deposit per person, is required at the time of booking, this will then be deducted from your final bill. We can accommodate large group bookings, if you require a table for more than 8 people, do contact us here for availability. Looking for private dining? We offer private room hire in our Manor, charges apply.
We are a dog friendly venue, we welcome well behaved dogs along to our events. If you are bringing a dog with you, please make a note in the comments box when booking. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Park Entry & Member Discounts
Why not combine your meal with a visit to our 66 acres of Parkland with animals and an adventure playground? Entry to the park for our Sunday Lunch guests is priced at just £5 per person (pp) and is available at the ticket office upon arrival at the park.
Old Down Country Park Members receive 10% off of food (discount applies to individual member only), simply show your membership card at time of payment.
Where are we?
North of Bristol, we’re within 10 minutes from Thornbury, Alveston, Aztec West, Patchway, Bradley Stoke and the M5.
We’re within 25 minutes from Yate, Wotton-Under-Edge, Berkeley and Newport.
We are unable to heat up any baby food, but we do have a microwave where you can warm it up yourself.
