When did you open for business and what inspired you to start up?
2011 is when we opened our door for business – I created the stationery for my youngest daughters wedding, I designed everything needed for the wedding & lavish reception. After the wedding I had so many compliments from guests and the venue staff I started to think this was something I would really like to do.
What do you love most about your job?
Dealing with happy couples, it’s so lovely to be part of their special day.
Describe your typical day when working at a wedding:
A typical day can be consultations in the morning, followed by design and artwork in the afternoon or it can be dressing a venue & catching-up with brides for last minute ideas they may have.
What do you think makes you different to other similar suppliers?
As an experienced designer I have a real passion for creating unique design, so this gives me the perfect opportunity to run wild and create something really special for a couple. I also create all my own illustration, be flowers or that important venue or church, this allows me to be able to mix and match illustration & design. change colours, so whatever is needed I have control.

Most importantly plan a head, allow time so there’s not a rush on important decisions.

A really difficult one to answer! each and everyone is an achievement in its own right.
What do you love most about working as a preferred supplier for Old Down Estate?:
It has to be the interaction with such lovely and professional co-ordinators at Old Down and a beautiful venue in a fabulous setting makes it fun.
