Interestingly, canapé is a type of hors d’œuvre meaning ‘outside the (main) work’, and is a small, prepared and usually decorative food, held in the fingers and often eaten in one bite.

“A couple of my favourites are Lobster Taco’s – mini taco’s stuffed with lightly cooked chopped lobster and a spicy tomato salsa or Potato Blini topped with smoked salmon, eel or caviar … perfection with a glass of champagne or a vodka based cocktail!”
