Get ready for a spooktacular Halloween Half Term like no other at Old Down Country Park! We’ve conjured up a bewitching blend of workshops and activities for the whole family to enjoy (selected dates only). Brew up some enchanting potions, get gooey with slime making and carve out unforgettable memories as you create your own pumpkin lantern, picked from our very own pumpkin patch! But that’s not all – we’ve got a Trick or Treat Trail, the Party Play Bus and themed Monster, Wizards and Witches Days! Please note, lots of activities are included in park entry while a few activities have an additional charge. Our available activities/ workshops change each day, please check our timetable below.
October Offer
Visit Old Down Country Park this October and with every full paying Adult or Concession ticket purchased, one child can enter for just £1! Simply select October Offer Tickets at checkout, visit date is required at the time of booking.
Offer available on visits between and including Sunday 1st October and Tuesday 31st October 2023, excluding Saturday 7th October (Due to private event, reduced £5 entry applies).
One child enters for £1 with every full paying Adult or Concession.

Pumpkin Picking
Come on down to Old Down Country Park this Halloween and pick your own Pumpkin in our spooky Pumpkin Patch!
£4 per Pumpkin.
Available to pick 10am-4pm

Pumpkin Carving
Carve up your pumpkin in our workshop! Carving utensils and pumpkin are provided.

Trick or Treat Trail
On Tuesday 31st October, we’re hosting the ultimate Halloween Trick or Treat! Use our map to find our spooky characters! Once found each character will stamp your map and hand over sweet treats! Complete the map and hand it into the ticket office.
