Old Down Party in the Country Park…We’re excited to announce an unmissable family event coming to Old Down this summer! Get ready for an epic party showcasing an array of outdoor adventure, live local musical talent, entertainment for all ages and activities the whole family can enjoy. Soak up the atmosphere, explore the outdoors and be part of what is set to be our biggest party of outdoor fun!

- What tickets do I need to buy?
You will need to purchase ‘Party in the Country Park’ event tickets. Members discounted tickets are also available. This is a ticketed event only; the Country Park will be closed to general day admission and membership entry.

- I had purchased tickets for the original date, what do I do now?
Our team will be in contact with anyone who purchased tickets for the original date of Saturday 13th May 2023. If you have not been contacted, please do email info@olddownestate.co.uk
- I have Country Park membership, can I get in for free?
This event is not covered by Country Park membership, however we offer a discounted price for members. You can find full ticket information here.
- I have bought a general park admission ticket, can I use that?
General admission tickets do not cover this event. Event tickets will need to be purchased for access to this event.
- Do I need a ticket for under 2 years of age?
We offer free entry to Children under the age of 2. We ask that you purchase a free ticket online for this event.
- Is there a timetable of events?

- Can I bring my dog?
Yes, we are a dog friendly venue and encourage visitors to explore the outdoor areas. We simply ask you keep them on a lead and clean up any mess after them.
- What food and drink will be available?
You can find the full event menu here. Our cafe will be open and we will have a BBQ with hot and cold options available. We cater for a range of dietary requirements especially within our café. Non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase from our event bar. Unfortunately alcohol that has not been purchased at Old Down is not permitted onsite.
- Can we bring a picnic?
Yes! We have a number of areas with picnic bench available for you to bring your own if you wish. However we offer a range of hot and cold food and beverages onsite. Please note alcohol that has not been purchased at Old Down is not permitted onsite.
- How long will the event last?
A full timetable of events will be released soon, however this is an all day event which runs into the evening.
- Can we bring our own chairs?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring foldable chairs to use throughout the day. However Old Down take no responsibility for personal possessions brought onsite.
