The Illuminations at Old Down Country Park are back and better than ever for 2024. A magical sensory experience that illuminates the beauty of our Country Park and Estate. Wander through our immersive experience of sparkling installations and mesmerising lights. Make your Christmas memories glow by embarking on a starlit journey, at your own pace around our grounds, surrounding you with magic, warmth, and cheer.

Enjoy the delights of Christmas with our seasonal themed menu, including Yorkshire pudding wraps and loaded roasties. Follow the pathway to our festive village, where you can toast marshmallows, sip on hot chocolates and mulled wine, all finished off with a warming crumble.

Make a Christmas wish and embellish your night with holiday seasonal crafts for the kids to enjoy. Meet some of our friendly animals and be part of a wondrous evening.

This year we are bringing back our ‘Quieter Sessions’ on our Monday evening illumination events. These sessions will feature reduced noise and less capacity to appeal to anyone who would prefer a calmer experience.

Timings are the entrance slot and visitors are welcome to explore the trail for longer.

Last entry 18.45 - Food available between 4.30pm-7pm.
