Park Events Coordinator

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Events Coordinator to join our events team.

Old Down is situated in the South West countryside and set in 66 acres of beautiful grounds, our Manor House has panoramic views across the River Severn to Wales and the rolling hills beyond.

Old Down Estate is home to our family-friendly Country Park, with year-round activities, and our magnificently refurbished Manor House which is lavishly presented for exclusive wedding hire and corporate events.

 

Main Responsibilities:

Halloween – 7 day Scarefest planning:

    • Planning and Design
  • Sourcing Actors
  • Arranging sets and décor, including sound and lighting
  • Full Implementation

Christmas in the Park

  • Launch day parade and event
  • Grotto and trail (including elf management)
  • Ice rink management
  • Events with Santa
  • Park décor

Annual Festival Event Planning

Various park events (running events, car shows etc)

This role is Full Time and will require occasional weekend work

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a Graduate with a degree in Events Planning/Management
