Set in the beautiful grounds of Old Down Estate, our bell tents provide a unique outdoor UK staycation. With free park entry for the duration of your stay and 66 acres to explore, it’s the perfect hassle-free camping experience for a family adventure (where you can still enjoy some of life's little luxuries).
Prices start from £112* per night and are available to book from April 7th - 31st August 2025. Tents are available for two, four or six people. *Price based on 2 berth, 1 night stay.

Amenities
Each bell tent has solid pine beds with super coil spring mattresses, an indoor stove for cosy evenings and furnishings to create a relaxing, hassle-free camping experience. Plus, they all come with that all important Wi-Fi access.
We provide duvets, pillows, towels, a non-electric kettle, mugs, a battery powered light and tea lights. Outside every bell tent is their own little seating area with mini fire pit (kindling and logs can be purchased at time of booking for £15 per bag).
New for 2025: Facilities for running water to wash up, fridge, electric kettle and microwave.
We have on-site cabin toilets and showers. Please note our pitches are non-electric.
Country Park
Included in your stay is free access to our Country Park. From beautiful gardens and woodlands full of blooming flowers and grand trees, to adventure play areas featuring a zip wire, jumping pillow, mud kitchen and a giant draughts board.
We are also home to many different animals great and small, including; goats, alpacas, highland cows, wallabies, bunnies, birds and lots more! We host 2 animal encounter sessions, 11am and 2pm everyday in Pet's Corner.
If you're bringing your dog, we have an exercise area just for them. They can run around off lead in an enclosed area with some agility equipment for them to try out!

We are a dog friendly venue and charge £25 per dog for the duration of your stay. We ask that they’re kept on a lead due to our free-roaming live stock and that you clean up after them. *Dog beds are not included.
Food Options
On-site Café
It serves delicious breakfast and lunch options that you can eat in or takeaway. Plus, our Farm Shop serves drinks, snacks and deli food (open 10am-4pm). View menu.
Sunday Lunch in the Manor
Available on selected Sundays with sittings at 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm and 2pm. Pre-booking is advised (£5pp deposit required). View menu.
Afternoon Tea in the Manor
Available on selected Saturdays with sittings at 12:30pm, 1pm, 1:30pm and 2pm. Pre-booking only. View menu.
Foxhills Spa
Located on site and a short walk from the tents is Foxhills Spa, offering relaxing spa packages, massages, facials and beauty treatments.
Open Monday-Saturday, 10am-5pm with twilight evenings available on Thursday evenings, 5pm-8pm.

Parking and Check-In
Parking is FREE and available in the Country Park car park. Camping trolleys are available for moving luggage to your accommodation and are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. It is a 4min walk from the car park to the tents. No vehicles are permitted beyond the car park for transporting luggage to and from the bell tent accommodation.
Check-in is 1pm-5pm but you can be on-site to enjoy the park from 10am. Check out from the tent is 10am but you can still enjoy the park until closing at 5pm.
