Café, Afternoon Tea and Sunday Lunch
Join us for delicious food at Old Down, where good food meets good times. We’ve got something to offer everyone, including our legendary Sunday Lunch served up in the Manor and our delightful Afternoon Tea spreads that change every season.
We pride ourselves on food inclusion and cater for a range of dietaries like Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and more. We have kid-friendly menus for those little foodies and we're totally dog-friendly too, because we believe in making memories with all members of the family, paws and all!
Our café is nestled within the Country Park and can be visited without the need to pay park admission. We have a whole range of delicious breakfast and lunch food including Bloomer Sandwiches, Burgers, Loaded Jacket Potatoes and even a Full English Breakfast! For the little ones, we have a special Kid's Menu that even fussy eaters will enjoy like Chicken Nuggets and Chips and Mac 'N' Cheese!
We offer an eat in or take away service so you can enjoy in our Barn or wherever you may like outside! Breakfast is served from 9am-12pm and lunch 12pm-3pm.
Treat yourself, friends, and family to a delightful Afternoon Tea in the Manor. From freshly baked scones to seasonal tasty cakes, our Afternoon Tea is sure to to make a lovely day out. Available Fridays and Saturdays with sittings available to book at 12pm and 2pm. We can cater to gluten-free, vegan, or dairy-free preferences.

Our Rusty Rooster is located within our cozy Country Park Café and offers a delightful array of produce and gifts. From freshly baked homemade bread to cards and unique gifts, each item is carefully selected to provide our customers with a special shopping treat.
We sell eggs from our very own free range chickens and honey from the bees kept on our park! So come on in, explore our shelves, and experience the warmth and flavour of Old Down Estate.
