Designed to encourage active play and imagination, the park features dedicated play areas for both younger children and older, more adventurous visitors.
Within our roped-off children’s play area, younger visitors can enjoy a sandpit, trampoline and a large wooden tractor, making it an ideal space for toddlers and young children to play safely outdoors.
For older children, the Adventure Park includes a zip wire, climbing frames and a large jumping pillow, offering exciting outdoor activities for kids and plenty of high-energy fun.
Our Animals
Great and small
We have a range of friendly animals to meet at Old Down, from goats and fluffy alpacas to our cheeky macaw parrots and Kevin the peacock.
Our new Animal Barn is home to a range of farm animals like pigs, cows and sheep. With added small animals like bunnies and guinea pigs.
Our Adventure Park and animal fields are full of four legged friends like our shetland ponies, donkeys and highland cows. You can purchase animal feed from our café and hand feed them. They're super friendly and absolutely love grass pellet treats!
We also host an Animal Encounter session everyday at 11am in our Animal Barn. It's your chance to get up close to some of our animals.
Please note our animals move around the park to sustain growth of our paddocks, speak to a member of staff for more information.
